Introducing realxtend based experimental MMORPG Delta Lyrae 6

What do you get if you have a flexible virtual worlds platform (realxtend), a good idea and a good artist?

Edwige Lelievre posted an url to his blog to the realXtend mailing list not so long ago. I took a look and found out a visually very different, a very good looking experimental MMORPG.

It may be that it still needs some steps before it becomes the next World of Warcraft, but as it is it serves as a great example what can be done with realxtend.

Delta Lyrae 6 takes advantage of the possibility to model your very own avatar, totally free-form, without kludges. The female avatar (Elise) looks very convincing. Also the worm -avatar looks very, well, wormy.

Here is the link to Edwige's blog, where you can follow the progress of the MMORPG.

Thanks for adding the link ! Actually I'm not so satisfied with the character, because of the eyelash (transparency missing) and the airs (weird transparency )

I have added two days ago a note about the post-processing effect I have created for Realxtend (with a small video !)
