As Opensim is an open source project, it is not self evident where to look at to get support. Especially if you are new to Opensim, it could take a considerable googling effort to get on the map. Snoopy gives us a good and concise summary on the best resources.
I am Snoopy Pfeffer, a resident of OSGrid and Second Life. Since
many years my main interests are new technology trends, what makes
them a break through and how this changes our life. In 2008 I have
discovered Opensim and immediately afterwards I have joined OSGrid.
Since then I try to support the development of this new promising
open source virtual world technology. Although I have a strong
technical background, my strength is to fill the gap between new
technologies and new applications that add value to customers.
Beside technical consulting, development and offering hosted
regions in OSGrid, my company Dreamland Metaverse
provides strategic consulting, business development and marketing
services.
Support for Opensim
These web pages describe where you can get support for
Opensim:
The best sources for help are the Q&A Sessions each
Saturday in OSGrid, the IRC channels #osgrid and #opensim,
and the mailing list opensim-users.
For sure many people that you will meet in OSGrid, on the IRC
channels or via the mailing lists like to help you to get your own
Opensim regions running in OSGrid.

Maxping offers a list of
professional/semi-professional service providers at the resources
section.
