The World Builder video shows how virtual worlds should work

Being there makes it different

What if you could abandon mouse and keyboard and go in to the virtual world instead of peering at it through a spreadsheet-like application window?

A man builds a world from scratch, using in-world tools. The world is meant for a woman, which he clearly loves. I hope to see this kind of user experience soon... user interface technologies need some advancements too.

This video by Bruce Branit was released three months ago, but as I find it still interesting after watching it many times, I wanted to make sure Maxping readers get to see it especially as it is very relevant to some of the augmenting reality discussions going on at the moment.

Anyway, sit back and enjoy what we think is a modern masterpiece.

This is an inspiring film in many ways - are the virtual worlds of today the black and white televisions of yesterday?
